MRSS Call Center
This critical Ohio RISE initiative represents Ohio’s dedication to enhancing its behavioral health system with a focus on providing immediate crisis response services for children, youth, young adults (under the age of 21), and their families.
Our call centers are professionally staffed and clinically supervised, providing 24/7 access to services that can triage and route individuals to the appropriate immediate response providers in the community. The staff is trained to coordinate with mobile response teams, behavioral health providers, and emergency services as necessary, ensuring that individuals receive the right support at the right time.

Thrive’s Service as the Mobile Rapid Response Stabilization Services Call Center
In 2022, Thrive Peer Recovery Services was honored to have been selected by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) to manage the statewide Call Center for Mobile Response Stabilization Services (MRSS).
As Ohio transitioned MRSS from a regional program to statewide implementation, Thrive’s role in overseeing the Call Center was pivotal in ensuring a seamless, effective connection to crisis care through a “no wrong door” approach. Thrive brought its extensive experience in operating hotlines and warmlines to this vital project. The MRSS Call Center, which launched in June 2022, was developed using a national best practice model, offering a single point of access for initiating MRSS services and ensuring rapid support for our youth and their families in times of crisis.
