State Required Recovery Coach Academy Training (CCAR)

The CCAR Recovery Coach Academy is a state-required training program designed for individuals who have already begun the certification process and are ready to complete the training portion of their PRS certification.

Who This Program Is For:

  • Individuals who have completed (or can complete) the 11 E-based Academy courses prior to training
  • Those ready to focus on state-required training
  • Participants who prefer a virtual learning environment and can arrange childcare if needed

What You’ll Learn

  • Core competencies of peer support
  • Ethical considerations for peer supporters
  • Principles of recovery coaching

What to Expect

  • 32 hours of virtual training over 4 days (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily)
  • Expert-led instruction from experienced facilitators
  • Fully online format to accommodate busy schedules
